I had an amazing walk to the Saugerties Lighthouse today. It was much windier out by the river and the fresh air makes me want to reach out and hug Spring. While I was there a barge gracefully passed which inspired today's poem.The Barge
Brilliant and splendor
Arriving on the breath of Spring
Resonating beauty
Guided by by a towboat
Elegance it rings
*BTW - I need to add that I don't recall the lighthouse on the list of field trips from the fourth or any other grade for that matter - what could they have been thinking?
